Mad Dim has a deep connection to hardware music machines, shaping his sound through hands-on experimentation and a genuine love for the production process—whether working solo or collaborating with other artists.
He performs exclusively live, treating each set as a complete music show, shaped by the space, the crowd, and the atmosphere of the moment. His music carries a jazz-like freedom inside hypnotic house rhythms, opening space for ambient states of mind, subtle tension, and emotional detail.
With over 25 years in music, Mad Dim’s relationship to sound began long before club culture—rooted in piano and an early connection to melody and harmony. That foundation still shapes his approach today: instinctive, expressive, and deeply focused on feeling.
Based in Berlin and born in Ukraine, Mad Dim is a resident of Serialism and Nervmusic, runs his own label Ouyayebu, and releases music internationally across various platforms.
